About the Role

Standyou is seeking a full-time, on-site Academic Advisor to join their team in Jaipur. This role focuses on guiding students toward affordable international education opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide students in selecting appropriate courses and institutions based on academic interests, career goals, and scholarship opportunities.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions.
• Review student profiles against scholarship and program criteria.
• Provide personalized academic and career guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate information on programs and scholarships.
• Support students through the application processes.
• Maintain detailed records of student interactions and progress.
• Contribute to workshops, information sessions, and outreach initiatives to educate students and families about higher education pathways and funding options.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Academic Advising and Education-related knowledge.
• Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and empathy.
• Ability to analyze student profiles and scholarship criteria with attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in using digital platforms, CRM tools, and basic data analysis.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is beneficial.
• Familiarity with international education systems is beneficial.
