About the Role

The Business Development Trainee (Remote) will support Bhanzu’s growth efforts by identifying prospective learners and partners, conducting outreach, and nurturing relationships through online channels. In this full-time remote role, the trainee will assist with lead generation, qualify inbound and outbound leads, and maintain accurate records in CRM and tracking tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research.
• Understand customer needs.
• Present Bhanzu’s offerings.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to improve conversion and customer experience.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Share feedback from prospective customers.
• Contribute ideas to optimize business development processes and campaigns.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfort with online collaboration tools.
• Comfort with CRM or lead management systems.
• Comfort with basic productivity software.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data and trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident virtual presentation abilities.
• Lead Generation skills, with comfort in prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing pipelines using digital tools.
• Market Research skills, including gathering, organizing, and analyzing information about competitors, markets, and customer segments.
• Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and building trust with learners and families.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A growth mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in sales or business development is an advantage.
