Data Analyst Trainee

About the Role

The Data Analyst Traineeship is a remote role focused on supporting data-driven decision-making for MedTourEasy’s healthcare initiatives. This traineeship offers practical experience in applying analytical techniques within the healthcare domain while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a structured, learning-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
• Performing basic data analysis.
• Assisting in building simple data models and reports.
• Preparing visualizations and summaries to communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to ongoing analytical projects.
• Documenting methods and findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
• Knowledge of Statistics and basic Data Modeling concepts.
• Effective Communication skills for explaining data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and follow structured guidance.
• Interest in healthcare analytics and willingness to learn new tools, methodologies, and industry practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Tech Stack & Tools

• Familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets).
• Familiarity with at least one data analysis tool or language (such as SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
