About the Role
The role involves being a Network Voice Gateway Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Voice Gateway: Configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of enterprise voice gateways.
- SIP/VoIP: SIP trunk configuration, call routing, dial plans, and VoIP connectivity troubleshooting.
- Voice Connectivity: Carrier circuits, PSTN connectivity, H.323/SIP integration, and call-flow troubleshooting.
- Voice Infrastructure: DSP resources, codec configuration, gateway redundancy, and high-availability support.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Call quality, voice gateway logs, signalling/media flow, incident resolution, and change implementation.
- Documentation: RCA, CMDB, Diagrams, Inventory sheets.
Qualifications
- Voice Engineer experience.
- Experience with enterprise voice gateways, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SIP/VoIP, including SIP trunk configuration, call routing, dial plans, and VoIP connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience with voice connectivity, including carrier circuits, PSTN connectivity, H.323/SIP integration, and call-flow troubleshooting.
- Experience with voice infrastructure, including DSP resources, codec configuration, gateway redundancy, and high-availability support.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting voice systems, including call quality, voice gateway logs, signalling/media flow, incident resolution, and change implementation.
- Experience with documentation, including RCA, CMDB, Diagrams, and Inventory sheets.
