Credit Controller

About the Role

The Credit Controller role at ITC Maurya is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Credit Controller will oversee credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding receivables, ensuring timely debt collection, and managing debtor accounts in alignment with hotel policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing credit applications.
• Assessing creditworthiness.
• Setting and updating credit limits.
• Preparing regular reports on overdue accounts and collection performance.
• Close collaboration with the finance team, front office, and sales departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Minimizing credit risk.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting month-end closing processes.
• Compliance with internal controls.
• Continuous optimization of credit management procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with accounting or hotel management systems.
• Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Credit Control and Credit Management.
• Practical experience in Debt Collection and managing Debtors.
• Solid Finance knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
