Technical Product Manager

About the Role

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. The Veeva CDMS team is looking for a high-energy, passionate individual with experience in B2B enterprise product management to create a game-changing health tech application.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the product evangelist (externally and internally).
• Be hands-on with market and competitive analysis, wireframes, requirements, and functional design.
• Communicate specific, actionable requirements to engineering teammates.
• Stay current with software and pharmaceutical industry trends and distill them into product requirements.
• Provide second-tier customer support for product-related questions and enhancement requests.
• Design, implement, and iterate on product features.
• Own and improve technical aspects of the product.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and data flows, and anticipate the broad impact of changes in a live system.
• Ability to devise simple, elegant solutions to complex business problems.
• Expert verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience coding, specifically with database languages (SQL/SAS/etc.).
• Track record of success in creating and delivering software.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Computer Science Degree.
• Experience in SaaS-delivered enterprise solution.
• Experience in Life Sciences.
• Experience with Data related products.

Compensation

• Base pay: $75,000 - $165,000.
• This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
