Private Equity Associate

About the Role

• A leading private equity investment firm is looking to hire an Associate to join their team in Chicago.
• The role provides broad exposure across the firm’s investment activities and portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite potential investment opportunities across a range of industries and transaction types
• Build and review detailed financial models, including LBO analysis, valuation, and returns analysis
• Conduct company, industry, and market research to assess new investment opportunities
• Assist with due diligence, investment committee materials, and transaction execution
• Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment process
• Support portfolio company monitoring and ongoing performance analysis
• Assist with add-on acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and other value-creation opportunities
