Chemical Engineering Specialist

About the Role

The Chemical Engineering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. KAKAR TRADE CHEM LIMITED is a chemical trade and solutions company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes, including material balances, equipment specifications, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct technical evaluations.
• Interpret laboratory and production data.
• Troubleshoot process issues.
• Contribute to safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare structured reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align engineering solutions with business needs.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the company’s chemical operations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering knowledge.
• Analytical Skills.
• Communication and Presentation Skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in on-site industrial environments, with attention to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with process simulation or modeling tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of quality and safety management systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in industrial chemicals, manufacturing, or process industries is preferred.
