About the Role

ArcelorMittal Digital Consulting (AMDC) is seeking aspiring Python Developer Interns to build solutions that matter. This internship offers an opportunity to strengthen programming fundamentals, work on practical development assignments, and explore how Python powers modern enterprise technology.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on project requirements, you may get exposure to:

• Python Development & Application Building
• Develop Python scripts, modules, and reusable components.
• Apply programming fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, and coding best practices.
• Build and enhance solutions to address practical business and technology requirements.
• Automation & Productivity Solutions
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and manual workflows.
• Work with files, structured data, and process-oriented automation.
• Explore opportunities to improve efficiency through simple, scalable Python solutions.
• API Development & System Integration
• Understand how applications communicate through APIs.
• Explore REST APIs, data exchange, and integration between software systems.
• Gain foundational exposure to Python-based backend development using frameworks such as Flask or Django, depending on project needs.
• Data Processing & AI-Ready Solutions
• Use Python to process, transform, and validate structured data.
• Explore libraries used for data analysis and manipulation.
• Build a foundation for future work in analytics, AI, and intelligent automation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundation in Python programming.
• Familiarity with Flask or Django is a plus.
• Exposure to REST APIs is beneficial.
• Experience with libraries for data analysis and manipulation is encouraged.

Qualifications

• B.Tech graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines.
• Fresh graduates with foundational knowledge of Python programming.
• Candidates with academic projects, coding assignments, hackathon experience, or personal projects are encouraged to apply.
• Individuals with logical thinking, problem-solving ability, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in software development.
