About the Role
- Position Summary: Support sales, controls and automation, and operations. Dynamic opportunities within the Early Careers Sales Internship Program to grow and develop while strengthening the company's healthcare system.
- Position Title: Sales Intern
- Start Date: Summer 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Apply AI tools to solve business problems.
- Build and optimize prompts for analysis, reporting, and automation.
- Integrate AI into workflows (e.g., reporting, dashboards, operations processes).
- Analyze data using AI-enabled tools and generate insights.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
- Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI solutions.
- Participate in a 10-week internship program with a comprehensive, structured classroom training curriculum focused on the Medicare business and serving Medicare-eligible members and prospects seeking health care coverage.
- Take part in networking opportunities, basic technical skills training, speaker series, and additional enrichment activities.
- Develop and refine selling and presentation skills through sales competitions, simulated practice, projects, and job shadowing.
- Build an understanding of the Direct-to-Consumer Sales model and its role in overall distribution.
- Gain hands-on experience with sales and sales support processes through phone-based and operational activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university for the full duration of the internship.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Rising senior during summer 2027.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint (Preferred).
- Successful application submission is conditional to profile evaluation by an AI system.
Compensation
- The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 – $32 per hour.
