Product Sppt Trainee

About the Role

Perform production execution activities for over 80 countries globally, ensuring accuracy and quality for critical deliverables. Implement process enhancements and automations for global offerings. Responsibilities include quality assurance, report production, and answering queries from Local Offices for the EMEA & LATAM regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing, monitoring, 1st level fixing, and 2nd level escalating production processes.
• Reporting and rerunning production processes as defined in the schedule.
• Providing first & second level break-fix support for Mainframe-Infrastructure and its components.
• Participating in Root Cause Analysis.
• Ensuring daily processes & procedures remain accurate and up to date.
• Completing and signing off account checklist items.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and reporting/resolving interruptions or problems in system processing and/or hardware anomalies.
• Providing 24x7 Production support, including escalation of abends.
• Providing immediate fixes to production abends, solving them as per the abend document.
• Monitoring batch cycles (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) and reporting statistics to clients.
• Ensuring timely completion of batch cycles as per the schedule.
• Checking for long-running jobs and investigating loop back issues with batch jobs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, ESP, REXX.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and good oral communication skills.
• Creative thinker with an eye for detail and quality.
• Fair knowledge in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI.

Qualifications

• Master Degree in MCA, Msc, BE, BTech, or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of experience in Mainframe Development or Support function.
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge is an added advantage but not a pre-requisite.
