Search Engine Optimization Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated SEO Analyst Intern who wants to learn and gain hands-on experience in keyword research, technical SEO, competitor analysis, and improving website rankings. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO, an interest in how search engines work, and a willingness to learn SEO tools and improve website traffic. This is a full-time, work-from-office internship where you will work closely with the SEO, content, and web teams on real projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Research search demand, customer intent, SERPs, and competitors.
• Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
• Assist with technical SEO audits, crawling, indexation, and internal-link analysis.
• Use tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other SEO tools.
• Identify opportunities from ranking gaps, search trends, and competitor movements.
• Assist in monitoring website rankings, organic traffic, and search performance.
• Research emerging trends in AI search and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).
• Assist in developing AI-search query/prompt sets and monitoring brand visibility, mentions, and citations.
• Recommend content, website structure, and technical improvements based on SEO opportunities.
• Work with content and web teams to implement SEO recommendations and track outcomes.
• Analyze SEO performance and prepare reports/documentation when required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of SEO and search engine.
• Understanding of keyword research and search intent.
• Basic on-page and technical SEO knowledge.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console.
• Basic understanding of competitor and SERP analysis.
• Good analytical and research skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn SEO tools and new search trends.
• Basic understanding of how websites and search engines work.

Compensation & Benefits

• Stipend: ₹5,000–₹10,000 per month
• Location: Full-time, on-site internship in Thane, Maharashtra
