About the Internship

• Perform authorized security scans on APIs, web endpoints, and exposed services for the gaming platform, and validate findings before reporting them.
• Conduct network vulnerability scans across approved datacenter, server, and infrastructure assets, and assist in identifying misconfigurations or exposed services.
• Assess Windows-based virtual machines in approved environments for missing patches, insecure configurations, privilege issues, and known vulnerabilities.
• Support remediation by coordinating patch verification, hardening checks, rescans, and closure tracking for identified issues.
• Prepare clear reports on vulnerabilities, risk severity, affected assets, and recommended fixes for the engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Work with senior team members on controlled security validation and vulnerability assessment activities within defined scope and authorization.
• Research emerging threats relevant to APIs, Windows systems, servers, and gaming infrastructure, and help improve the overall security posture.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong interest in infrastructure security, network scanning, API security testing, and Windows VM hardening.
• Ability to document findings clearly and communicate with technical teams.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus.
• Understanding of ethical hacking boundaries, responsible disclosure, and working only within approved scope is highly preferred.
• Prior hands-on practice through labs, CTFs, home projects, or academic projects in cybersecurity will be an advantage.
