About the Role

Ikoi Tokyo is seeking a Food and Beverage Intern for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru. This position offers an opportunity to support daily restaurant operations and gain hands-on experience in food and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food service.
• Prepare and serve beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas.
• Welcome guests.
• Provide menu information.
• Take orders.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Learn basic culinary and service techniques.
• Follow hygiene and safety standards.
• Support inventory and stock checks.
• Work closely with senior staff to gain experience in food and beverage operations and guest engagement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Food Service and Food & Beverage operations knowledge or strong interest.
• Customer Service and Communication skills, including a polite, professional manner and the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Basic Culinary Skills or a desire to develop foundational kitchen and preparation skills.
• Ability to follow hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
• Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak hours.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a hospitality, hotel management, or related program is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Prior internship or part-time experience in restaurants, cafes, or hotels is a plus.
