About the Role

Nimeya is hiring Actuarial Interns, with two tracks available.

• Track 1: Actuarial Intern (Core)
• Work on product design, pricing, and benefit calculations.
• Build Excel/VBA calculators such as customer IRR tools based on illustrations.
• Track 2: Actuarial Intern (AI + Actuarial Initiatives)
• Build on an actuarial foundation.
• Explore how AI and automation can read product documents, check calculations, and speed up everyday actuarial work.
• Applicants can submit a link for any prior AI work/app developed.

Both roles will be based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Product design, pricing, and benefit calculations.
• Building Excel/VBA calculators.
• Exploring AI and automation for actuarial tasks (Track 2).

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed Bachelors/Masters degree.
• Cleared a few actuarial papers and working towards IAI/IFoA exams.
• Knowledge of life insurance products sold in India.
• Strong in Excel.
• Curiosity in VBA and automation.
• Keen on Python and AI tools (Track 2).
• Enjoy working out payables on survival, death, or maturity.
• Analytical and careful with detail.
• Love solving problems.
• Desire a strong start to an actuarial career.
