About the Role
We're looking for Test Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements for APIs.
- Design and execute manual and automated API test cases.
- Validate API requests, responses, status codes, headers, and payloads.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end API testing.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Validate data integrity by testing backend databases (using SQL queries).
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the SDLC/STLC.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide testing updates.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- API testing tools: Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or Insomnia.
- API test automation frameworks: Rest Assured, Karate, or Postman/Newman.
- Defect tracking tools: JIRA or Azure DevOps.
