Key Responsibilities

• Run power/air tools for packaging product.
• Identify and inspect product, placing it in proper boxes and pallets.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, and ordering supplies.
• Daily communicate with supervisor regarding potential issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure safety measures are followed to protect personnel and company property.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and management.

• Ability to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high-quality products.
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and capacity to accurately read a tape measure.
• Physical stamina and perseverance to handle pressure well.
• Ability to work well with others while pursuing a common goal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to count and record findings.
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crouching, carrying items, crawling, and climbing all day.
• May have to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

• Can be hot or cold depending on outside environmental conditions.
• Exposed to a loud and noisy environment.
• May be interrupted frequently.
• Work area is busy and noisy, making it challenging to concentrate.
• Peak times may require longer work periods.
• Continued interruptions require effective stress management with focus on obtaining position goals.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Full-time position.
• Expected work hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
• Overtime necessary as business dictates.

Pay

• Starting salary: $19-22 per hour.
