About the Role
As an Interaction Designer (IxD) Co-op at Crown Equipment Corporation, you will be mentored by the IxD team to research, design, and help implement interfaces for lift trucks, warehouse management tools, and mobile applications with industry-leading user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching user needs, product requirements, competitive analysis, and industry trends.
- Conducting field research of users and products, which may include on-site observation, interviews, filming, and task analysis.
- Creating prototypes to design, test, and help develop new experiences.
- Collaborating with designers and other Crown departments to bring ideas to life.
- Creating visual documentation to support software and Design System development.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Be enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interactive Media, or Visual Design.
- Good written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Work samples must exhibit good visual design skills. Include portfolio link with application.
- Reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday.
