About the Role
This is a Diploma Trainee position at Wabtec Corporation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling of sensors with rail claw and plate as per manufacturing instruction
- Installation of sensors at site
- Strict adherence to the quality process and documentation
- Assembly of mechanical parts as per the requirement sheet
- Testing of boards as per the manufacturing instruction
- Inspection of conformal coating as per the specification and requirements
- Basic operating principle of temperature and burn in test chambers
- Handling knowledge of active and passive components in PCB
- Soldering of boards as per the requirement sheet and standards
- Wiring of axle counter racks, relay racks, reset cubicles, co-operative reset panel according to interface circuit
- Installation of axle counting systems at sites
- Planning activities related to assignments in advance for timely execution
- Reporting of activities, issues, and problems to higher ups for progress updates and immediate problem resolution
- Production reporting through ERP
- Supporting RDSO inspection
