The Role

As a Frontend Intern, you will contribute to building and improving the user-facing interfaces of Storyvord’s AI-powered filmmaking platform. You will work on real-world product development tasks, collaborate with the team, and help create responsive, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for Storyvord’s platform.
• Build reusable UI components and interactive features using modern frontend technologies.
• Translate design concepts and requirements into functional web pages.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and other team members to integrate frontend features with APIs.
• Test, debug, and optimise applications for performance, usability, and cross-device compatibility.
• Contribute to improving the overall user experience of AI-powered film and content production workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and product development activities.
• Research and implement suitable frontend tools, libraries, and best practices.
• Use AI coding assistants to support development and debugging while validating generated code.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React.js or another modern frontend framework.
• Understanding of responsive web design and basic UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Ability to debug issues, write clean code, and solve problems independently.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
• Good written and spoken English.
• A portfolio, personal website, GitHub repository, or at least one frontend project demonstrating practical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or other modern frontend technologies.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integration.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or component libraries.
• Knowledge of web performance optimisation and accessibility.
• Experience using AI coding assistants during development.
• An interest in artificial intelligence, filmmaking, creative technology, or research-driven product development.

Qualifications

• A student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Project: UK Research Collaboration
• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Remote (India)
• Compensation: First 2 months unpaid, followed by 4 months of paid internship.
• Start Date: Immediate
