About the Role
The Logistics Supply Specialist is a cross-trained role capable of performing multiple logistics and supply chain functions. This position is responsible for accurately managing supplies from receipt to distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform multiple logistics and supply chain functions.
- Manage, control, and move supplies across the organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Collaboratively work with a cross-functional team, including co-workers, clinical staff, supervisors, and the management team.
- Prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties within scheduled hours.
- Safely operate material handling equipment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of Material Management functions such as shipping & receiving, inventory, and replenishment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Knowledge of Supply Chain inventory software.
- Knowledge of mobile supply chain devices.
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems.
- Knowledge of Facility Disaster Plan, Safety, Infection Control, Blood and Tissue Handling, and HazMat policies.
- Knowledge of and adherence to Premier Health and Material Management policies and HIPAA requirements.
- Proficient in mathematics, reading, and writing skills.
- Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse, and inventory skills.
Qualifications
- High School completion / GED.
- No prior job-related work experience required.
- Preferred: Material Management experience, preferably in Healthcare.
