About the Role
Join IBM as a SW Developer Intern: Systems Assurance and contribute to the systems powering the future, from microprocessors to AI LLM solutions. Grow your skills in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and test hardware systems hands-on.
- Validate and characterize processors and systems.
- Support customers and field engineers with technical solutions.
- Design and test firmware architectures.
- Analyze failures and improve system reliability.
- Automate test suites and simulate customer environments.
- Develop and document test plans and procedures.
- Contribute to internal and external code repositories.
- Collaborate with global development teams.
- Install, configure, and validate AI Large Language Models (LLMs).
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Understanding of client-server architectures and networking protocols.
- Experience with application development and databases.
- Ability to design scalable APIs, servers, services, and applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication, design, and testing skills.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a client-first mindset.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Familiarity with DevOps Tools and practices.
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development principles and exposure to front-end development frameworks.
- Interest in L3 Support Engineering and exposure to debugging techniques.
