Software Engineer

About the Role

Zamper.ai is hiring a full-time, on-site Software Engineer in Patna.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend and full-stack software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Implement and optimize APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver features.
• Contribute to improving development workflows.
• Monitor system performance.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of deployed applications.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Software Development lifecycle practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Skills in Back-End Web Development, such as building RESTful APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
• Ability to write maintainable, secure, and scalable code, with attention to performance and reliability.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and communicating clearly about technical topics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Interest in AI-driven applications and willingness to learn new frameworks, tools, and technologies.
