About the Role
QeCAD is hiring a Jr. BIM Engineer in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project briefs to understand requirements.
- Produce approval and construction document sets from design drawings, sketches, and guidelines.
- Work independently or within a team on various projects using Revit.
- Update timesheets/PMS regularly and report daily progress to the Project Manager.
- Prepare and send queries, manage project deliveries, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Coordinate and compare drawings across multiple disciplines to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Perform self-quality checks on all completed tasks to ensure high standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiar with BIM standards for 3D modeling, layouts, labeling, dimensioning, sheet layouts, and design details.
- Proficient in both Civil 3D and Revit.
- Ability to interpret 2D and 3D BIM drawings to solve engineering challenges.
- Familiar with Levels of Development (LOD) 100 to 450.
Qualifications
- B.Arch or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in the outsourcing architectural industry, specifically with clients in Australia/NZ/USA.
- Background in architectural modeling, drawing, and documentation.
- In-office training in Revit is available for candidates not yet proficient.
