AVP-Cyber Liability underwriter

About the Role

• Role Overview: Cyber Liability underwriter with a blend of technical knowledge and underwriting experience to support the cyber insurance portfolio at RQBE.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of the cyber risks, insurance coverage and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client’s cyber security posture.
• Underwrite cyber liability risks in line with underwriting guideline.
• Structure policy and pricing based on analysis of risk and market trends.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, regulatory changes, new cyber coverage offered by the competitors.
• Work closely with the internal team, brokers and clients.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of cyber security framework.
• Familiar with cyber risks viz ransomware, data breaches, social engineering fraud etc.
• Good analytical, negotiation and communication skill.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma or Certification in Cyber security.
• Bachelor’s degree or post graduate diploma, preferably, in Insurance & Risk management.
• Prior experience in assessing & underwriting cyber risk will be preferred.
