E-commerce Operations Intern

About the Role

The E-commerce Operations Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role offers hands-on exposure to online retail operations and the opportunity to learn how a growing local e-commerce business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily e-commerce operations.
• List and update products.
• Monitor inventory.
• Ensure accurate product information on the platform.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Assist with order processing and tracking.
• Help resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
• Contribute to sales and promotional activities.
• Gather and organize operational data.
• Provide basic analysis to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Comfort working with online tools and dashboards.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic commerce concepts and interest in e-commerce operations.
• Analytical skills to track performance metrics, interpret data, and identify operational improvements.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Customer service skills to handle inquiries, support order-related issues, and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Sales awareness and willingness to support promotional activities, product visibility, and upselling opportunities.
• Current student or recent graduate in Commerce, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior internship or part-time experience in retail or e-commerce is a plus.
