About the Role
Gmedia is a full-service event management and creative production house. The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end editing of event footage, including selecting and organizing clips, assembling timelines, and creating polished videos.
- Perform color grading.
- Add motion graphics and text overlays.
- Sync audio.
- Adapt edits for social media, brand films, and event highlights.
- Collaborate closely with producers, videographers, and designers.
- Manage project files.
- Meet tight production deadlines.
- Contribute creative ideas.
- Support continuous improvement in video output.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for event and promotional content.
- Skills in Video Color Grading.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
- Strong storytelling ability.
- Attention to detail.
- A portfolio showcasing event or brand-related video work.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines collaboratively.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in event or creative production is an added advantage.
