About the Role
The Housekeeping Runner at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo will ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by delivering requested items, transporting linens, and responding to guest needs. This role supports daily Housekeeping operations by maintaining organization and providing friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver requested items, supplies, and amenities to guest rooms and staff areas promptly.
- Transport clean linens to designated buildings and collect soiled linens for laundry.
- Respond to guest requests for additional services or room supplies.
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Respond to guest and owner requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain clean, organized storage closets, carts, and equipment.
- Transport trash and linens to appropriate collection and disposal areas.
- Inspect items and equipment for damage and report concerns to supervision.
- Navigate the resort to provide timely service across assigned areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Housekeeping operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license to operate company golf carts.
- Ability to stand for approximately 90% to 100% of the shift.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must comply with Westgate Resorts policies and procedures and maintain professional appearance, dress, and behavior.
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, safety awareness, integrity, and a commitment to excellent guest service.
