About the Role
The Design Quality Assurance Engineer will collect and analyze data using 3D/2D and visual inspection data. They will develop countermeasures and oversee the Quality data process to meet die/mold requirements and achieve production Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets for long-term stability. This role will also feed information into future models to shorten maturation processes, trial events, and reduce overall energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze quality data to develop countermeasures to meet Quality targets.
- Evaluate and ensure final quality of dies shipped to production plants.
- Present Quality results to the team and outline the path forward for any non-conforming data.
- Work and interact with customers to meet customer Quality targets and expectations.
- Develop part supplementals.
- Create Fixture specifications for parts produced by tooling.
- Support preliminary new model development to shorten maturation.

- Keyence (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent Die Cast, Stamping, or Plastics experience.
- 0-2 years relevant experience in Die Cast, Stamping, or Plastics.
