Job Title: Transactional & Litigation Legal Intern

About the Role

• Work under the supervision of experienced attorneys to develop legal skills and knowledge.
• Work in office with opportunities for remote hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various litigation matters.
• Assist in the preparation of case strategies.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and revising various types of contracts and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on various transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities.
• Participate in client meetings and negotiations to gain practical experience.
• Support the legal team in due diligence processes.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for and close transactions.
• Work collaboratively with manager and department colleagues.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Technical skills required for navigation in multiple systems and learning new technology.

Qualifications

• Law student from accredited law school who has completed over 50 course hours.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Desire to learn corporate culture.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
