About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Developer role based in Kolkata. The Junior Developer will assist in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement analysis.
- Write clean and documented code.
- Fix bugs.
- Support integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to code reviews.
- Learn best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Support ongoing enhancements across projects in areas such as AI, cloud, and data engineering.
Qualifications
- Foundational programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and understanding of object-oriented concepts.
- Basic knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, REST APIs) and familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Understanding of software development life cycle, version control tools (e.g., Git), and unit testing principles.
- Interest in or exposure to cloud platforms, data engineering, AI/ML, or cybersecurity concepts is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, follow coding standards, and communicate clearly in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
