Social Media & Influencer Relations Intern

About the Role

Electro is redefining hydration with a functional electrolyte chewing gum built for athletes. We partner with college athletes nationwide, along with professional athletes across the NBA and NFL. This is an unpaid internship. The intern will support NIL athlete relations and community management, representing the brand in athlete conversations and helping grow our partner network. This internship can count toward your school credit requirements, and our team will handle everything your university needs, from the internship agreement to the final evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new athlete partners.
• Build targeted lists of college athletes by school, sport, and conference.
• Represent the brand professionally and positively in every communication.
• Review inbound athlete applications and route qualified candidates to the team.
• Recruit new athlete partners and guide them through onboarding.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date athlete records.
• Track athlete interactions in our CRM systems, including Notion and internal tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a high volume of daily communication.
• Organized, dependable, and committed to strong work habits.
• Clear, professional, and personable writing style.
• Interest in sales, business development, or partnerships.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote startup environment.
• Current or former college athletes, or candidates with NIL experience, are encouraged to apply.
