Founder's Office Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, multi-disciplinary Graduate Associate to work directly with the Founder. This role is perfect for a fresh graduate who wants to see the "business side" of engineering early in their career. You will act as the "right hand" to the leadership, helping transition the firm from engineering concepts to market-leading execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Research & MEP Trends: Research emerging technologies like BIM (Building Information Modeling), sustainable HVAC solutions, and IoT-integrated electrical systems.
• Business Development & Tendering: Assist in preparing technical bids and commercial proposals. Identify new "Greenfield" and "Brownfield" project opportunities in the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Financial & Project Modeling: Support the founder in project cost estimation, resource allocation modeling, and tracking the profitability of ongoing MEP contracts.
• Graphic Design & Branding: Design brand decks, technical brochures, and high-impact project portfolios for client meetings.
• Data Analytics: Analyze project timelines and labor costs to identify bottlenecks, providing data-driven reports to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Mindset: The "Swiss Army Knife" Mindset – comfortable reading technical floor plans, designing logos, and building spreadsheets.
• Software Savvy:
• Engineering: Awareness of AutoCAD or Revit (BIM) is a plus.
• Design: Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Figma.
• Data: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic macros).
• Tech: Proficient in using AI technology to generate results.
• Communication: Exceptional writing skills to draft documentation and professional correspondence.

Qualifications

• A recent degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Business/Architecture with a strong interest in the built environment.
