Summer 2027 Corporate Internship

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product designers to develop skills and formulate strategic design decisions during all phases of the product development life cycle.
• Effectively balance applying creative ideation to business challenges to build intuitive, easy-to-use products.
• Conduct research discovery through primary and secondary methods, including user ecosystem mapping, interviews, journey mapping, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
• Analyze research data and articulate findings through effective storytelling among technology and business partners.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Passionate about user-centered research and design, promoting empathy and understanding when creating product experiences.
• Strong curiosity for using new tools, adopting new technology, and learning new Product/UX methods.
• Dynamic written and verbal communication style, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and vertically throughout the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Digital portfolio demonstrating user-centered research and design practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
• Attending an accredited university, college, or technical school.
• A major in Design, Technology, or a related field.
• Anticipated graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong verbal communication skills to read and write reports, and communicate cross-functionally and vertically throughout the organization.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner.

Internship Details

• Internship Start Date: May 17th, 2027
• Internship End Date: July 29th, 2027
• Duration: 11-week Summer experience.
• Work Schedule: Hybrid work schedule; in office Tuesday – Thursday, working from home Monday and Friday.
• Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Customer Support Center/Corporate Office).
• Full-time Opportunities: Consideration for full-time jobs after graduation in 2028 within the Technology Development Program.
