About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at DMC, you will design mechanical systems for automation, test, and embedded hardware projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers, you will help deliver practical, high-quality solutions while growing your technical skills. This role is for any entry-level engineer looking for a position in 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Executes mechanical design for multidisciplinary projects
- Upholds engineering standards, tools, and best practices
- Partners with customers and cross-functional teams to develop designs, and support implementation
- Manages tasks with project teams, prioritizing needs and addressing risks and roadblocks
Requirements & Tech Stack
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field (minimum GPA 3.4)
- 0-3 years of mechanical design experience
- Exposure to 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, etc.)
- Quick learner with strong desire for continuous improvement
- Interest in understanding manufacturing processes and standards
- Experienced designing custom fabricated components (preferred)
- Up to 25% travel
ITAR Requirements

Salary Range: $87,500 USD - $97,500 USD
