About the Role
The Social Web team builds interfaces for players to connect across Epic's ecosystem, including Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys. As an intern, you will ship real features, gain production web development experience, and be mentored through the full feature lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship features using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, working directly in the production codebase.
- Partner with senior engineers to design and implement UI components and user flows for the social overlay experience.
- Debug issues and contribute fixes across the front end, with guidance from the team.
- Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback.
- Take ownership of a well-scoped project or feature, from planning through to shipping.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Coursework or project experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with React or another modern front-end framework.
- A strong interest in distributed systems.
