Mathematics/English Teacher

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Instructors with 1 year experience to work with children aged 3–15 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual student ability and progress.
• Check worksheets and homework and identify areas needing attention.
• Select worksheets based on performance and the current focus area.
• Monitor progress and move students to the next level when ready.
• Encourage independent thinking through appropriate questioning and guidance.
• Plan classwork and homework.
• Maintain student records and attendance accurately.
• Organise worksheets and maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Communicate with parents directly, clearly, and in a timely manner.
• Manage approximately 15–20 students per day.
• Follow Kumon standards and centre processes.

Subject Specialisation

• Mathematics Instructor – Strong proficiency in Mathematics.
• English Instructor – Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Mathematics & English Instructor – Good proficiency in both subjects.

Qualifications

• Degree in any subject or equivalent diploma.
• Freshers are welcome.
• Prior experience with children or in education is an added advantage.
• Montessori experience is preferred.
• Strong Mathematics and/or English proficiency, depending on the role.
• Spoken English is mandatory.
• Kannada is preferred.
