Post Merger Integration Senior Analyst

About the Role

The Data Team, part of Accenture's Global Corporate Development function, supports senior business leaders in identifying, acquiring, and integrating companies. This role focuses on the research phase of the M&A cycle, with expanding scope to collaborate across the broader acquisition process and pilot emerging technologies, particularly applied AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Support building M&A acquisition landscapes for global leadership decision-making, including market analysis, target shortlists, company profiling, and priority sector mapping.
• Support maintenance of the team's data and tooling ecosystem across the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI dashboards, Power Apps model-driven applications, Dataverse models, Power Automate workflows), Claude Artifacts & Skills, and dedicated software.
• Test and prototype agents, integrating LLMs into research and analysis workflows, and evaluate new tooling.
• Automate reporting for senior leadership and communicate insights clearly.
• Prepare strategic decks and analysis to support M&A decision-making.
• Execute data projects to improve and streamline processes across Corporate Development teams.
• Support process improvement initiatives, including ETL optimization, KPI design, complex visualizations, internal & external data integrations, and process automation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Finance background is a must.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in market research or M&A research, financial due diligence, financial analysis, reporting & business intelligence applied to finance, or relevant consulting/corporate background.
• Minimum 2+ years working as a software engineer with exposure to data lifecycle and software lifecycle.
• Advanced Python, SQL.
• Working knowledge experience with Jira, Git, Azure DevOps, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Claude MCP, API management.
• Advanced English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating LLMs via API (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) or building AI-assisted agents and workflows.
• Data science or machine learning experience.
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experience with research databases such as CapitalIQ, PitchBook, and CB Insights.
• Advanced Spanish is highly valuable.
