About the Role

The Premia Academy seeks a full-time, on-site Science Teacher in Hyderabad. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate science lessons, emphasizing conceptual understanding and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in science.
• Develop conceptual understanding and practical skills in students.
• Prepare lesson plans.
• Design learning activities and experiments.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science with mathematics and other disciplines.
• Contribute to curriculum development.
• Participate in school events and parent interactions.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ personal, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher status with relevant certification or licensure and experience in classroom instruction.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in Science Education, with the ability to teach core concepts clearly and confidently.
• Subject knowledge in Physics and Mathematics sufficient to support interdisciplinary learning and higher-order thinking.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing experiments, activities, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
• Ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that supports diverse learning styles.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, learners, and families.
• Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
• Experience with experiential, inquiry-based, or project-based learning methods is an advantage.
