Video Production & Editing Intern

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras for indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Set up 3-point lighting, softboxes, and audio systems (lapel/boom).
• Ensure proper framing, exposure, and continuity in all shots.
• Conduct client-site and industrial shoots.
• Manage on-ground production and equipment handling.

Creative Direction

• Translate scripts and ideas into compelling visual stories.
• Develop storyboards and detailed shot lists.
• Ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Use motion graphics to simplify complex concepts.

Editing & Motion Graphics

• Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Create motion graphics, typography, and diagrams in After Effects.
• Add music, sound effects, and perform color correction and grading.
• Deliver optimized videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and websites.

Workflow Management

• Maintain well-organized footage and project files.
• Manage and maintain production equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content.

Additional Responsibilities

• Film and produce high-quality video content from planning to execution.
• Collaborate with the creative team on concepts and storyboards.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing the video content library.
• Brainstorm and develop engaging content ideas.
• Enhance visuals using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Support photography projects for marketing materials.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve video production quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Skills

• Strong expertise in camera operations and lighting setups.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling and composition.
• Good understanding of lenses, exposure, colour, and framing.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel for shoots.

Bonus Skills

• Experience in industrial or documentary-style shooting.
• Basic knowledge of 2D/3D animation.
• Graphic design skills.
• Experience with B2B or tech storytelling.
