About the Role

The Owner at MagicLanternStudios is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing the agency’s vision, strategy, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Guiding creative and marketing initiatives.
• Setting long-term goals.
• Ensuring alignment between client expectations, brand outcomes, and operational capabilities.
• Nurturing client relationships.
• Driving new business development.
• Managing key partnerships across the Indian market.
• Supervising core teams.
• Making critical resource and budget decisions.
• Maintaining a culture of creativity, collaboration, and ethical practices.
• Hands-on involvement in major campaigns.
• High-level problem solving.
• Continuous improvement of internal processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Digital-first brand building: Understanding of social media, content marketing, and data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, advertising, or creative agencies, including leadership responsibility for strategy, client management, and campaign delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans, manage budgets, and drive sustainable growth in a competitive market.
• Strong skills in team leadership, stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
• Comfort with on-site work in Hyderabad.
• Prior experience owning, co-founding, or managing a business unit or studio is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
