About the Role

S&S Design Consultants is an architecture and design firm focused on delivering functional, sustainable, and aesthetically driven spaces. The firm collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into thoughtful design solutions. Using industry-standard tools and processes, S&S Design Consultants supports projects from concept through completion. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas, grow their skills, and participate in a collaborative studio environment.

The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects, working closely with senior architects and project managers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and 3D models.
• Assist in concept and schematic design.
• Contribute to detailed design and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and consultants.
• Support integration of design elements.
• Ensure project documentation aligns with client requirements and local regulations.
• Assist with site visits, basic measurements, and progress reviews.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
• Familiarity with design visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, and digital workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to support concept development and detailed drawings.
• Ability to assist with Project Management activities, including coordination, scheduling support, and documentation tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent relevant discipline.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Bengaluru or interest in developing this expertise.
