Technology Learning And Development Specialist

About the Role

The Technology Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving technical training programs for HFCL’s engineering, product, and operations teams. This full-time, on-site role based at Hyd Plant will focus on building capability in areas such as optical fiber technologies, telecom products, and related Fiber solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments.
• Create learning curricula and materials.
• Facilitate classroom and hands-on training sessions.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts.
• Track training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
• Manage learning platforms.
• Maintain up-to-date course content aligned with evolving technologies.
• Support onboarding and upskilling initiatives across multiple business units.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in instructional design, curriculum development, and training facilitation for technical audiences.
• Skills in learning needs analysis, competency mapping, and evaluation of training effectiveness using assessments and feedback tools.
• Familiarity with telecom and Fiber/OFC technologies.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), digital learning tools, and basic data analysis for tracking training metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Education, HR, or a related field.
• A master’s degree or relevant certifications in L&D or instructional design is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a technology or telecom environment in learning and development, technical training, or capability-building roles is highly beneficial.
