About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Bartender role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring consistent quality and presentation in line with resort standards.
• Welcome guests, take orders, make recommendations, and provide attentive, courteous service at the bar and related outlets.
• Set up and close the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Restock supplies.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with the food and beverage team during events and busy periods.
• Follow all safety and responsible service guidelines.
• Contribute to a warm, professional ambiance for guests.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear spoken English and the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests.
• Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic mixology, beverage pairing, and familiarity with bar menus.
• Bartending skills, including drink preparation, bar setup, bar maintenance, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Cash Handling skills, including operating POS systems and reconciling bills accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a professional, guest-focused demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in hotel, resort, or upscale bar environments is preferred.
• Formal training or certification in bartending or food and beverage service is an advantage.
