This CMA Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the finance and accounting team with day-to-day activities related to management accounting and financial analysis.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, variance analyses, and cost assessments.
• Help with budgeting and forecasting tasks.
• Work with senior team members to collect and validate financial data.
• Support internal controls.
• Help document processes and procedures.
• Maintain organized records.
• Prepare working papers for audits or reviews.
• Contribute to presentations and reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Ask questions, participate in team discussions, and take on assignments to apply concepts from the CMA curriculum.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed CMA or an equivalent professional finance qualification, with a strong academic foundation in accounting and financial management.
• Basic knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, cost accounting, and management reporting, with an interest in learning advanced analytical techniques.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow professional standards and ethical guidelines.
• High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Mumbai.
