About the Role

• Full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
• Supports the compliance team in monitoring adherence to RBI regulations, payment aggregator guidelines, and other applicable regulatory frameworks for cross-border payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with regulatory research.
• Reviewing internal policies and procedures.
• Preparing documentation and reports.
• Tracking regulatory updates relevant to PayGlocal’s operations.
• Maintaining compliance records.
• Supporting internal audits.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and implemented.
• Contributing to process improvements.
• Participating in compliance reviews.
• Supporting training or awareness initiatives related to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Strong skills in Regulatory Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Solid understanding of Regulatory Requirements relevant to financial services and payments.
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting regulations, policies, and data.
• Effective Communication skills for drafting clear documentation and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Interest in fintech, payments, and regulatory frameworks governing cross-border transactions.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a structured manner.
• Readiness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, document editors).
• Ability to synthesize information into concise reports.
