Backend Software Engineer

About the Role

Real Time Applications Center (RTAC) is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to develop and enhance the server-side components of its business applications and software products. The role involves implementing application logic, managing data, and building reliable services that support real-world business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, application modules, and business logic.
• Build APIs and integrate databases with frontend applications.
• Implement data validation, authentication, and secure processing.
• Troubleshoot backend issues and improve application performance.
• Integrate third-party services and support existing application enhancements.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Understanding of programming fundamentals and backend development concepts.
• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and application architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging, and software development practices.
• Exposure to backend frameworks or cloud-based applications is an advantage.
