About the Role

We are looking for motivated and career-oriented candidates to join our Direct Tax Litigation team at our Shyamal, Ahmedabad location. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who are interested in developing their expertise in direct taxation, tax litigation, and representation-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in handling Direct Tax Litigation matters.
• Support the preparation of submissions, replies, and documentation for income tax proceedings.
• Assist in drafting responses to notices issued by the Income Tax Department.
• Conduct research on income tax laws, case laws, and relevant judicial precedents.
• Assist in preparing appeals, written submissions, and other litigation-related documents.
• Support assessments, reassessments, and appellate proceedings, as applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with team members and seniors on ongoing tax matters.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing CA articleship, semi-qualified CA candidates, CA dropouts, and freshly qualified Chartered Accountants may apply.
• An interest in Direct Tax and Tax Litigation is essential.
• Candidates with relevant exposure to income tax compliance, assessments, appeals, or litigation will be preferred.
• Good analytical, research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise in Direct Tax Litigation.
