PLC Programmer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves designing, developing, and testing PLC logic for industrial automation projects, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify PLC programs.
• Configure hardware.
• Integrate control systems with instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project engineers, instrumentation specialists, and customers to understand control requirements.
• Prepare documentation.
• Support FAT/SAT and site start-ups.
• Assist in optimizing existing systems and implementing improvements.
• Maintain compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in PLC programming, debugging, and troubleshooting for industrial automation applications.
• Experience with control systems integration, SCADA/HMI configuration, and instrumentation interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking fundamentals (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Understanding of safety standards, interlocks, and best practices in control and instrumentation engineering.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in an industrial, process, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site at customer locations within Mumbai and occasionally travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
