About the Role
We are seeking Information Technology professionals to join our team and engage with the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) initiative. This role offers an opportunity to participate in the IT revolution in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Address emerging hospital patient safety, quality of care, and improved patient outcome initiatives.
- Undertake system enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Oversee the full life-cycle management of clinical applications.
- Learn different IT clinical systems, including EPIC.
- Work with nurses and physician leaders in the development of evidence-based electronic order sets.
- Facilitate device integration between biomedical equipment and the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Analyze, document, and design new electronic workflows for physician practices currently using paper.
- Develop or update existing hospital workflows to meet new regulatory EHR incentive programs.
- Collaborate with the business office to update hospital reimbursement contracts and automate refund transactions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree currently in final semester at an accredited university pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS in a related analytical field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrates analytical/problem-solving skills.
- No Information Technology experience is required.
